Welcome fellow geek writers! This Tribe is designed as a place for much bitching/praising/networking/events/other.
I am currently swimming in soupy deadliney hell. We have a product launch in 16 days, and I'm converting a 168 page manual via robohelp.
Once this is finished on Monday (I started yesterday.) I'll have the priveledge of churning out a series of accompanying animated tutorials.
The next two weeks should be glorious.

Re: Welcome!
Fri, January 23, 2004 - 2:01 PMRobohell-Ugh! I feel for you, man.
I'm a former ForeHelp user who really was po'd that they went under. Switched to HyperTextSuite (www.olsonsoft.com/), and have been quite happy, although I saw a neat demo yesterday of a not-*quite*-ready-for-primetime alternative produced by Rascal Software, a startup out of Seattle. (www.rascalsoftware.com/)
Right now, though, I'm looking for work (and trying to type around the cat), as I got RIF'd from Novell in November. I'm working the job boards and doing the networking thing, which is at least part of why I'm here. (The other being for my own amusement <g>).
Cheers to all!
